Connecting games consoles to the service

In order for our network to recognise your device, we will need to find its MAC Address. This is a specific ID code set by the hardware manufacture and can generally be displayed in the network setup or system information screens of your device.

If you’ve got a games console and want to connect it to your Optify broadband’s WiFi connection, then read the guide to get up and running quickly and easily. How to do this may depend on the device you have. We've included information on some of the most popular ones below.

XBox 360

If the Xbox 360 does not detect a wired connection when starting up for the first time, you'll be prompted to select a WiFi network.
